Enough for Me
The essence of Nature
Could be enough
For me
Sustain my sanity
If only I was allowed
To rest here
simply
Forever.

My innards, my soul, just churns and craves to frolic and rest and be one with nature. I tell you, my fairy side is coming out and beckoning strongly. It’s hard to be human and know I have to be cooped up inside working when I know I should be like a fairy and live among nature and trees and flowing water and wild animals.
But people don’t understand, and/or there’s nothing we can do about it (but save up for vacation). So those of us that have this yearning… just got to switch it off. Which is unnatural.
When I’m stressed, I want to go out in nature. With my job, I’m often coming home late at night from an event, so I can’t go outside after work usually. (I vote for more outdoor events!)
But I think, in some other life after this, I’m sure I’ll be allowed to just relax on some other planet or space and soak up the wonders of nature instead of worrying about human-things. Ah, how wonderful that will be!
Wow, you’ve just said all I was dreaming of… It’s the great hope that gives me the power to survive what I’m living now. Thanks for the wonderful feelings you expressed in your words and the poem.

Really, that’s so awesome that we connect in these feelings, Mohamad! I hoped others were feeling the same as me. I actually noticed how our posts were similar, when you were speaking of Romania and how beautiful it is. I really connected with your words there, too. I’m also glad you liked the poem. That hope that is giving you the power to survive does the same for me, too. 🙂 ❤ Anything is possible and it will happen!! I know it in my soul.

Lovely, calming picture. And I couldn’t agree more. We’re going to London (and taking a cruise around the British Isles) in September. The thing I’m most interested in doing is going to Stonehenge and walking barefoot to see if I can feel any energy from the ley lines that meet (supposedly) beneath it! 😀

It’s his lordship’s “retirement” present. It’s either now or never once he pre-retires next year. Last shot. The only thing left on my bucket list… 🙂

I wonder what the bench was thinking as it was looking at the water? I mean a amazing image of what you have done. And that image can say a thousand words to people that look at it for sure. But great post and thanks for sharing it to the world…

I always enjoy reading your words and comments. I created the poem not based off of the picture, of course, but of an urgent feeling I had to just be one with nature. But the picture I felt was fitting! 🙂 Sometimes i will write poems based off of pictures. I should do that with this picture at some point 😀

Well I always think outside the box and anyone around me will tell you that. I get that from my Master. The world has a funny way of giving us messages, and that image of that bench was giving me a message of not giving up on life, and think how many people have sat on that bench with there problems? I mean this are some of things I think of. But then again there might of been people or a person that the bench changed that life for them. To me again the best thing about that bench is that it remains neutral in everything it has been through, and if that bench has feelings I think it would say, that it was glad that it did it job helping the people in a time of need. To me there is nothing more fitting then that. The bench has purpose and so do we as humans. So, again this is outside the box thinking, and just know that there is more to this world then we really realize in the end. And to me that’s the miracles I look for everyday when I get up. On that note you take care and many blessings…

Your way of thinking is truly moving. I couldn’t have thought about the bench in that perspective until you mentioned it. There is a whole poem… a whole story of that bench, for sure. You brought it to life in your mind and mine. Thank you for helping me shift perspectives. I can use this tool on different things in my life. 🙂 You think deeply, and feel deeply. I send positive energies to you!

I can relate to this! When I was a child I always wanted to be a fairy or a wild animal frolicking freely in Nature without someone telling me to come in before I caught a cold! It certainly is hard being human.
Thank you so much for finding and following me and the storyhounds. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

I’m sure we were both fairies in a past life 😛 I’m glad we can relate to each other, Annabelle. I love fairies, they are my absolute favorite. I read (and write) fantasy, so I always enjoy reading books about fae!
