Hidden Light: a poem

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I’m keeping super busy with my jobs, trying to make as much as I can.

I was planning on trying to work more hours so I could save a bit for our vacation coming up in August. I seemed to have extra money this month! Andddd… I went on an online shopping spree with it instead. 🙈 I bought 2 belly dancing DVDs and my first official belly dancing attire. This is something I’ve wanted to do for awhile, since it’s a hobby I enjoy, exercsise, motivation to take more time out to do it more, and it makes my body feel good after I belly dance. I have back stiffness with my scoliosis, so it really helps with that.

So now, typing as always to make more mula! Wish me luck! And good luck to you.

Oh and, the vacation that we were going to go on included a Linkin Park concert. Very sad to hear about the lead singers’ passing. My husband is distraught. It was his favorite band in the whole world.

Sending peace and light out to everyone.

  1. Very beautiful poem Sarah! The stars truly are wonderful hypnotists.

Where are you and the hubby heading to? Btw I send him a hug, myself and a couple of my best friends are pretty shaken up with Chester. I also totally feel you on not doing anything and trying to save as much as possible. what I’m doing so I can get back to Thailand in December 🙂

      • Yes, I can imagine that belly dancing is fun too. I am a man but like the rhythm, the movement along the music and visited also some belly dance performances. My sister is likes it also very much and performes it as well. Have a continuing fun with it 🙂

All good wishes and a nice Sunday, dear friend 🙂

      • Wow, that’s awesome that your sister even performs it! I certainly don’t, but that’s because I haven’t taken a physical class yet outside my home videos! 🙂 But I’ve been involved in dance a lot in my youth so I pick up quite easily. So fun and also good for your body! I feel stretched out and more limber after dancing.

      • Dear friend,

Actually I myself do not practice belly dancing, I am just an onlooker and enjoy the body rhythm, the harmonic movements along the music – in fact once when I was in the house of my sister and there was a party – she took me to the dancing place and I had to swing my hips, my arms and hands as well – obviously I did it so good that everyone there burst out laughing LOL – so we all had a funny time 🙂

Life is quite serious, so it is good to laugh by heart every now and then.

        Have a good time
