Lost Serenity – a Poem

Lost Serenity

It trickles,

Crawling in bubbling inches.

That time of awe I felt

The lost serenity

Resonating nothing and everything,

Grapple me until I fell,

Taken over,

It wrecked what I thought,

Shattered my humanity

And I liked it.

This is a reflection of my meditation experience some time last week. In the bathwater, I listened to one of my meditation apps that I love.

Insight Timer is the best meditation app, because it gives you a bunch of:

1) Free meditations

2) different kinds of meditations (such as guided, chants, unguided, etc.)

3) Full length meditations

Balance is one of the things I struggle with, balancing my time and energy to do things my body needs instead of just trying to make money/make ends meet.

Even if I love my jobs, I still want time to bellydance, meditate, do yoga, take a walk outside, play with my kitties, and watch Vampire Diaries. πŸ˜€ ❀

Soul Absorption – a poem

Standard

Peace and Love are going out from me today into the hurricane, into the people affected. My uncle & his wife are in FL. My grandma who also lives there is now visiting with my dad in GA. I hope you are all well. Sending you my love as well.

This poem is a love poem, so it’s unrelated to the hurricane or present worries. This is actually in my poetry book, Soul Thoughts. I hope you enjoy it!

Murmurs, a poem

Standard

Murmurs

My mind ambles

Away, drifting like those candid

Clouds that

Float on their distant reality,

The ones I can feel myself

Fall into but

I can’t seem

To touch.

Spiked dreams

Shed

Wistful murmurs.

Clouds- A Poem

Standard

This is the poem I wrote today as I stared off into the clouds and dreamed, and thought about how I can’t look at them enough. Often stuck in a building doing something. It was really nice to gaze and reflect, even if it was half a minute.

But of course I started writing, so the Moment was even shorter: πŸ˜‚ But when I have to write, I have to write!!

Sorry for the lack of title. Clouds is the subject, but not title. A lot of times I write something quickly (I’m a very fast writer- this may have taken me one minute to write) and immediately post it, not caring about true editing or even a title.

Literature teachers often say that poems need titles – no exceptions! (I was a literature teacher myself for 3 years.)  However, Im more of an Emily Dickinson person myself – writing with passion and awesomeness, no title.

But I will say that in my poetry book Soul Thoughts, I wrote most of those poems in one summe, but I then took a few months to edit each one and make each one more awesome. Oh, and they all have titles. πŸ˜‚πŸ’œπŸ’œ

Glad I finally did a post, I know it’s been awhile.

Namaste,

Celestial K.
